PARTITIONS PROBLEM

how do I create a partition? I have installed linux mint and make 5 partitions, 1 of which is the system area, and the other ordinary hard drive, but I can not save my files in that partitions [4 partitions]

thanks for the article. but after I install linux mint 10, he immediately re-install windows dark edition again. he's very strong stance that did not want to use linux. somehow he is like that .. He said that the dual boot just spend HD

but our hard drive capacity only slightly, only 80 GB .. and we were only 1290 MB RAM, 96 MB VGA. whether able to dual boot?

thanks all, my problem solved by me self. my problem is: before booting u'll wait 10 second right? n u must press ESC,, but i didn't press it.. so,, wablablabla.. Hhaha

direct username n password question

i try to instal linux mint 9. after booting, I immediately asked to type a username and password, I was confused because it does not as indicated in the user guide. i tried to use linux 'cause my windows illegal.. :D

I tried to install mint 9 but after booting directly asked username and password, not as indicated by the steps. so I filled it carelessly and did not work. how do I fix this?
