I have two HDD's in my computer, one for OS and one for /Home. I created a user account for my wife realised I made a mistake in her name and deleted it. I then created another account and her /Home file was missing. I have logged out of her account but I have not closed down the computer.

I have just been trying to set up my wife as a user and I deleted all of her files by mistake. Can a home directory be recovered or am I in serious trouble when she gets home.

Banshee files greyed out why ?
When I try to import files in Banshee I find that all of my music is greyed out and I don't know why. Can anyone help please. Thanks John

I had the same problem, I downloaded two ISO's, the checksum was right and it drove me mad because Mint would not load. Then I noticed that the ISO was a DVD version ! I burned the ISO to DVD and it works a treat !

Can't get all freeview channels
I have a digital tv card and I am using Kaffeine. I am trying to setup the digital channels but I don't get all of them to install. I have a freeview box for the home TV which does pick up all the channels, so I know I am getting a good signal ! can anyone tell me what I am not doing !! Thanks

I am using mint 5 live disk with the command dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/sda. There was no progress monitor and I was not sure if I had done things right, shortly after posting my question the process completed. Mint is now loaded again and working like a dream. Thank you for your reply
