Using julia right now but
still have windows7 for playing video games
so dual os + one pendrive (for testing other distro)

using pendrive or linux live cd can help to find your preference (distro)
read the forum and be active in finding the document and the troubleshooting
but for the best result:
using linux everyday

I love watching HD video, listening high quality flac, editing bitmap/ photo

Mints comes bundled with multimedia codec
+ it has gimp


It fulfill my need

the way mp3 can be heard just by pointing the file with the mouse is way cool
