Aside from the issues of the Nvidia driver, it appears there may be a problem with Intel in your system right now. Intel is showing as the gpu. I didn't notice that! This error occurs although NVIDIA is the active GPU OpenGL: renderer: N/A v: N/A direct render: N/A May you please help me to be able to fix this issue? I could fix this issue successfully using Software Sources -> Downgrade foreign packages after disabling the stupid PPAs :D

Silly me; It's important to mention that I can see Authentication showmessage as shown below but after input the password it fails to launch the executable (it works if I input the same command in the terminal pkexec /opt/lampp/manager-linux-x64.run)
