So whenever I try to view anything in fullscreen, whether it be a youtube video or a program like blender my screen glitches and screws up. I even tried ctrl+alt+backspace or whatever it is to go into a terminal and that doesnt work. only way i can fix it is to shutdown, then when I restart it get s...

to use virtualbox all you'd need is the installation disc for windows when you set up the vm. you can set the vm file to either a certain size or let it be dynamically expanding. VMing w/ virtualbox is incredibly easy.

Instead of dual booting I would suggest using VirtualBox and VM'ing windows.

whats the program? and all you'll have to do is type the executable (program) in the terminal. or if you want a shortcut just add a shortcut to the main menu and use the same command that you wouldve used in the terminal.

downgrading to an older version of compiz might do the trick. the current version is quite buggy.

I think its something w/ LM11, cuz i unistalled compiz and am just using metacity and I still have the same problem. and when I use my N64 emulator in fullscreen mode the same damn thing happens!

i'm running LM11 and whenever i use Blender3D in fullscreen mode it screws up other workspaces and the one its opened on. it looks like old static on a tv. the windowed version doesnt do this though. is it because of compiz or?

i'd suggest using tuxguitar instead of guitar pro. i know for tuxguitar to get sound I had to install timidity and have it run at startup, so that might work for guitar pro also.

mouse pointer wont change
i'm running LM11 and when I try to change the pointer to dmz black it doesnt. sometimes it will do a mix of the pointer schemes. like the loading circle will be the dmz black one but everything else is the dmz white cursor theme. any suggestions how to fix this?

i had to go to the boot options from sys config in the bios and enable usb boot, which by default is disabled. You could choose for it to boot from usb while it is disabled though, which is just annoying. my problem now is that when it boots from my usb drive that i used unetbootin to format all tha...
