32 Bit System
Hope to be in the right place.... I would just like to thank Linux Mint for still supporting the 32 Bit architecture. Old computers can still be used and not thrown away because of Windows not being supported on them.

Re: Considering starting my own computer repair business
Very good points from people. Around here it's Windows that dominates. I have clients that have changed to tablets but, the majority of my clients prefer a desktop or laptop. I have a few that have welcomed Linux on there machine. Like some said here, be versatile in every device as much as possible...

Re: I need to understand something!
So Google hasn't taken GPL opensource code and made it there own. Also, you are saying that you can opensource your code but still be proprietary?
It would mean than another type of license if I am understanding this correctly.

Sorry to have taken so long to reply back. Thanks for your help.
Unfortunately going back one version did not fix the problem.
I will have to install windows on another computer to be able to use sketchup.

Re: sytemd in usr/lib
Thank You!
I guess I wanted to know if I was using it on my system. I have checked by typing: "cat /proc/1/comm"
in terminal. The output I got was init.
I'm still a little confuse as to why that folder exist.

Re: What programs to use for Professional Web Design?
Thank You for your post. I have read all of them. I had been using some of the tools under linux. Photoshop is now with a subscripton, I don't do the cloud. I'll try the other tools I haven't heard of before and see where that brings me.

What programs to use for Professional Web Design?

Are there any one out there that uses Linux to make websites for clients and what would your workflow of tools look like? I have been using Linux Mint...
