tryed different solutions and no luck// any help ?

and dist-upgrade, did
sudo iwconfig wlan0 rate 54M
and had no change

program redshift worked fine on earlier versions of mint . using mint 12 cinnamon and can not get it to start with puter .i can start it by itself . ??????

used compiz --replace made compiz work /made a start up . then i could not shut off .. killed everything on desktop its blank reinstall time

mint menu in lisa is installed through a update 2 days ago .says its installed but cannot get it to work

Right click on panel > Add to panel... > Workspace Switcher.this should add other desktops.. also from laptop with hdmi connected so you can see connection of comp is good.start a movie or browser grab top bar on screen and try to move it to right

ok.Did you really install or just run off live disk?
if installed read about reinstalling grub in forum.might be just as easy to reinstall next to xp in free space .worked for me i had 3 on mine (7 ,mint,ubuntu)

make sure you do not have internal audio checked this is for only comp sound. these are my installed defaults . when i run hdmi i change sound settings to digital stereo one....

controll center /start up manager /default os

try checking other desktops while on hdmi connection left click mouse and move to way left or way right to other desktop. this was my problem....
