i really like how with linux mint, the devs actually listen to user imput and then uses the user imput to make linux mint better. this to me is the ONLY way to properly enhance and advance a linux distro to becoming a great distro. i also under how not all requests can be done, but if enough people...

This is hit or miss for me. Sometimes sudo mount -a works for me, sometimes it doesn't. Wouldn't hurt to try it first before performing a reboot.

Something like this is exactly what I've been waiting for. I didn't like having to add my WindowsXP partition to fstab to get access to it. Looking forward to it.
