So, I looked at the link you sent. I went to the section you suggested. And everything in that section I have already done.
Now, in a display of absolute mockery of a true fan ( ), you give me lines of code without context. You should be ( ).

Re: Unable to LiveBoot. Not an iso problem. Data provided.
My wife doesn't give a hoot what OS she is using, as long as she can watch her HBOMax & Amazon Prime.
My system isn't freezing. It is failing to boot from a live USB.

Re: Unable to LiveBoot. Not an iso problem. Data provided.
I know, for a fact this is not an ISO problem. The reason I know that is I have several ISO's laying around, and they all give the same problem. It's a native hardware/kernel issue.

Unable to LiveBoot. Not an iso problem. Data provided.
My wife's Windows laptop has stopped functioning. She asked me to fix it: I hate Windows. Here we are. I finally managed to get my wife's IdeaPad S145-15IWL to Live Boot the USB( what a chore THAT was, go figure). I wish that would have been the end of my travels, but alas... 1.jpg 1.jpg 1.jpg For s...

I already did that before posting here, but I did it again. Terminal returns no errors, and update manager is not changed.

Re: Lenovo 80JT: Wifi not working (inxi -Fxz included)
Okay. I am 85%-90% certain I broke my install. I tried to hook up to ethernet and my system did not recognize any connection. And, I believe I know how I broke my install. First, I fixed the situation by doing a fresh install over the last one. Everything now works fine. Here's how I broke it, so ot...

Re: Lenovo 80JT: Wifi not working (inxi -Fxz included)

Then I reboot, and my wifi is still doing the same thing.

Re: Lenovo 80JT: Wifi not working (inxi -Fxz included)
I have a Lenovo laptop also and fought for weeks for a solution...but it was an easy fix. 1. Add "blacklist ideapad_laptop" to a file you create named .conf file in /etc/modprobe.d 2. Shut down laptop. Unplug the power and network cable for 30+ seconds. 3. Replug the power and boot withou...
