Re: Turning fan on a dell latitude d800 laptop

The sensors-detect output ends with a message that no sensors were found. It didn't find an accessible temperature sensor in your laptop. This is rather common in laptops where fanspeed is usually handled automatically. Did you already try updating your BIOS? No I have not done that yet but will lo...

Re: Wireless trouble using ndiswrapper

Okay, I started over from scratch. I removed the drivers and network connection that I made. I then installed the drivers again and received this error.

Now I am stumped. I do not remember seeing that error when I installed the drivers the first time.

Wireless trouble using ndiswrapper

I have installed linux mint xfce 201104 32-bit. So far I cannot get my wireless usb dongle to work. It is a netgear WPN11. I have installed the drivers with the windows wireless drivers and setup the network connection. I think it is something simple that i am missing. Thanks for any help, kelean.

Re: Mint 9 to 10 Upgrade Via Apt

Anybody can help me recompile the kernel from an unconfigured kernel?? EDIT (12/4/2010): Well this is a great forum - post a problem, no response and you'll find the solution yourself. Kernel configuration here refers to my grub set-up - no problem there Might be a good idea to start a new post wit...
