Re: Theming brainstorm for LMDE

Is there something new what you can let us see already again?? or what you can tel us? Well, things are a little uncertain at this time. Minty-Freshness won't become the new LMDE theme, that's the only thing i can tell you for certain. It will either become the new default Mint theme, or it will be...

Re: Theming brainstorm for LMDE

* The dark panel is now default Sorry to whine, but I really don't like this (and dark panels in general). Is there anyway I can change this? :( If there is no simple way to do so, it's okay. I could get used to it. Sure there is, open the gtkrc file of the theme in gedit. If you installed the them...

Re: Theming brainstorm for LMDE

I was waiting like a good thing lol. Right now I download the new theme .. By the way, I'm not very good with git How do I update each time you add a change? Well, the best way is to build the deb and install it. If you want to do it manually, delete the old theme from wherever you have installed a...

Re: Theming brainstorm for LMDE

awesome - thanks a lot man. is the less pixmap thing because of the old pixmap version in debian testing? because I'd guess that should resolve itself before the next respin anyway. The theme may look like Orta but it's completely rewritten from scratch. It uses less pixmaps for various reasons. Th...

Re: Theming brainstorm for LMDE

Hello, i am SkiesOfAzel, the author of the Orta gtk theme. Ikey contacted me a while ago, asking me to port Orta to LMDE. The resulting theme shares allot of similarities with Orta, although it uses allot less pixmaps and lets murrine do its thing. It's also mintier ;). http://i.imgur.com/f2PCL.jpg ...
