Daar is Timeshift niet voor ontworpen en niet voor bedoeld. De mogelijkheid wordt wel geboden, dus kan mij goed voorstellen dat er mensen zijn die dat dan ook gebruiken. Voor je thuismap word je in Mint verondersteld om Reservekopie-gereedschap (mintbackup) te gebruiken.

Schakel gewoon dat automatische gedoe helemaal uit. Je kunt immers ook simpelweg handmatig een momentopname maken.

Well, then you probably simply need the newer kernel of *buntu 24.04 and the upcoming Mint 22. I expect the arrival of Mint 22 in July....

Booting from the Mint USB stick and then launching Timeshift is to no avail? Or is this error only there when you use Timeshift after the "successful" boot from the hard disk?

LMDE is just a backup in case Ubuntu would ever disappear. So simply stick with normal Mint.
