Thanks for the quick response. I have a quick question here.

Let's say if i'm taking the backup of the complete / and File System in a .tar archive.
After installation of Linux Mint 15, shall i just copy these to / which will overwrite some files?

I'm pretty new on this one :)

I used Linux mint 13 few months back, I soley removed the nemo file manager and had nautilius and it worked fine. I removed the file manager, since i had to work with RabitVCS ( which works only on Nautilus and not Nemo file Manger). Please refer my previous post where i had to remove Nemo and work ...

I'm facing this issue after installing Cinnamon in Fedora. The regular Gnome UI works fine with all those buttons. I've edited the issue description.

I have just installed Fedora 18 spherical cow on my machine. The 'Minimize,Maxmize and close' buttons are missing when i try to browse the file systes or drives. These options are visible when i try to browse through the internet via Firefox or Chrome. It's just the File Manger where im facing this ...

Thanks a lot. Does updating the OS help? My PC shows notification to update few packages, which i haven't done since the fresh installation.
