Bought a 2010 MacBook Pro 13” 8gb ram 512gb ssd from eBay £85. Bargain, running LM 21.1 mate. Ideal. Dell Latitudes and Precisions are other laptop alternatives. I have a spares or repairs Precision M6400 that cost me £62.50. Up and running with a spare 750gb hybrid drive and 12gb ram.

For what it's worth, I am using the FreeFileSync 11.29 (Donation Edition) with Mint 21.1 Mate and have no problems.

I would absolutely LOVE a "MintBang" mixture! I tried to suggest it in the Mint Community but I'm too new there to create a new idea (?) and it's not an official "idea" there. Currently use Xfce and really enjoy it, but a MintBang would be blazing with mind-bending speed even on...
