That wasn't really the question...
sloan wrote:[
Yes, just use GDM and you should be fine.
I don't follow...switching to GDM is something other than HTML? So what are you asking?
I'm asking if it's only the html rendering engine in MDM that's unstable.

Re: No Gnome In Mint 16?
I'm waiting for the 128th issue of that magazine to know more.
In any case Cinnamon looks more and more what gnome 3.0 ought to have been like.

I don't think we understand each other here.TehGhodTrole wrote:Of course not. Search results aren't like folders.aloysius wrote:Except it doesn't work with search results.
I'd like to be able to open the parent folder of a particular file, which would be particularly useful with the results of a search.

Open parent folder in nemo
As per subject, is there a way to add such option/functionality to nemo?
It would be particularly useful in dealing with search results.
P.S: I tried a couple of solutions suggested for nautilus, but they don't seem to be working.

I've had this problem since upgrading to Linuxmint 14.
Has anyone else experienced this?

Re: gnome-shell-mousewheel-zoom
The Community Site has an ideas module where you can suggest things like this: http://community.linuxmint.com/ It would help if you include a bit of text on what this program does, and how you have confirmed it can work without Mutter. Thanks, I will. It's a reimplementation of the screen zoom func...

Re: gnome-shell-mousewheel-zoom
I'm assuming you are asking about installing this on Cinnamon? Cinnamon and Gnome Shell are not compatible. This is not an applet and it works perfectly on Cinnamon. I find it very useful and like I said the official ppa package has dependencies that make up crud. Is there another place where one c...

Any chance it will be included in linuxmint and possibly repackaged since the repository at ppa:tobias-quinn/gsmz pulls unneeded mutter dependencies?

Cinnamon 1.6 and Virtualbox
Hello,
I'm using LinuxMint 13 as virtualbox guest and added cinnamon 1.6 (using glebihan's PPA) but now no panels or icons appear after login.
Any suggestions?
