I solved the problem. Had to go into the ASUS monitor's menu to adjust input to DVI. However, could not do that while connected to DVI when monitor was set to HDMI. Hello, Thought I would add a 2nd display, with Mint 20. Main monitor is LG connected via HDMI. 2nd monitor is Asus connected via Display Port to DVI. 2nd monitor has no signal. Usually only seems to have problem when I boot PC for the first time of the day, if I shut down and restart PC, the monitor works fine. So the issue only happens when the monitor is cold?
