Can anyone fill me in on what encrypting the home folder does? What kind of encryption does it use? What are some security concerns I should be aware of considering it only encrypts the home folder?
Any other info you can add would be great!

Never got going, didn't want to bug you guys more than needed and I thought the rest would work.
I since reinstalled and am now taking my time on figuring out how to get my wireless going. I couldn't get Method 1 to work as mentioned above.
