Re: Brother HW5370DW slow spooling
If I open the document in "Adobe Reader 9" and print from there, it works normal. The issue seems to be when I try to print from the "document viewer," which has worked before. I'm not sure if I should mark this thread as "solved" or not though. I'm able to print my doc...

Brother HW5370DW slow spooling
I have a Brother HW5370DW running in Mint 17 XFCE. Last week, I was able to print large .pdf files. On 2/24/2015 and 2/26/2015 updates related to CUPS came through the update manager. Now, when I try to print, it spools very very slowly and prints about 1 page per minute and eventually stops printin...

Re: Power supply issue?
Try a website that can calculate/estimate what is needed for power. Here is a couple that I just found:

Choosing Kernel [SOLVED]
I'm running Linux Mint 17.0 XFCE 64 bit. I installed the 3.16.0-30 kernel from the update manager. But when I reboot, I don't see a grub splash screen and can't choose which kernel to boot. So my question is, how do I enable the grub screen? I would like to load the original kernel (3.13.0-24 (3.13....

Re: Submit PDF forms from browser
I really don't think there is a solution to this since "acroread" isn't available for Mint17 in the software repo. "Acroread" is what gives the needed functionality for pdf forms and there isn't a firefox plugin that I have found to replace it.

Re: Hibernate or Suspension doesn't work
I know you posted your question in the "main edition support" section, but I wonder if this old thread will help you: http://forums.linuxmint.com/viewtopic.php?f=200&t=55859
I'm not sure if it's applicable to the main edition, but it might be worth looking into.

Are you able to burn the iso file to a dvd? If so, maybe you'll have better luck installing from the dvd vs. the usb.

Re: WYSIWYG Web Page Editor In The Repositories?
Blue Griffon works for me with Mint 17 XFCE. You don't actually have to "install" it. You just download and extract it. Then you open the folder and right mouse click on the file called "bluegriffon" and under the permissions tab, make sure the check box is checked to allow it to...
