I really like Gnome shell and it's interface. It's a clean interface with a great search and workspaces view. You just have to get used to some hotkeys like the super key to view the windows, ALT+TAB to switch between them and that's it. Gnome shell is also (in contrary to Unity) fully customisable ...

but the software center of mint isn't based on the software center of ubuntu. And the qtnx package offers an integration with the software center of ubuntu. If you install it, you get an extra button. I installed the qtnx in the beta of Mint, and I got no extra button. Maybe it's possible to use it ...

Can "test drive" be used in the new Mint 11?

In Ubuntu Naty, you can install the package qtnx and then you have a button "test drive", so you can try apps without installing.

Is it possible to get this in Mint?
