I would not say that Cinnamon doesn't work well on most Nvidia cards. I am always had Nvidia cards and Cinnamon has always worked fast and smooth.

You changed Cinnamon theme, that's it. I think it's an older theme that does not support Cinnamon 1.8.x ver. and the menu is a bit extended.

MGSe extensions don't work in Gnome 3.4. I'll try to fix some of this extension to work in Gnome Shell 3.4, because I making some changes for myself in Linux Deepin 12.06

New flat painted, old flats cleaned up, moving heavy objects around finally over with and all services are now returning to normal. Packages will be updated over the next few days. In the meantime I added a Precise series to the PPA which means 12.04 and Mint 13 RC users don't have to doctor any so...

I think it is quite logical that LM12 originally come out with Cinnamon and DE Mate can be installed from the repositories anyway. A small correction in this topic: Cinnamon is not DE, by definition, it's a SHELL for GNOME 3 DE (like Gnome Shell).

Benzini - as far as I remember, this theme is compatible with Cinnamon 1.4 :)

I know I may differ from the general direction Clem is taking Linux Mint, and why I maybe moving back to Ubuntu/Linux Mint (and installing gnome-shell) with latest gnome shell when Mint 13 arrives. With the announcement of Gnome 3.4 being release, are we going to see any love for Gnome Shell 3.XX??...

I had the same problem a few days ago. Jump to Gnome options (Control center), find the options for the Keyboard, and within that keyboard shortcuts. It's under System->Show the run command prompt.

Unstable repositories Synaptic->Settings->Repositories->Unstable packages(Romeo)

Why bother? Open Synaptic, temporary enable Romeo (unstable) repositories, refresh and install Cinnamon 1.3.1 if you so wish.
