I didn't see that anyone has mentioned earlier (neither here nor on github) but it's not possible for me to add local printer (e.g. CUPS pdf printer). I agree that it's mostly a matter of personal affinity - but, from my point of view - Cinnamon is one large, huge, 7 mile step from Gnome MGSE. Somehow it seems as focus is lost, but when this happens - it works for me to move window handle completely to the bottom - and the item is reordered. Then it starts working fine...
