The above steps fixed the 'blank PDF' problem.

However now the file name is a random number, previously the file name was the document|webpage title.

And now images are black boxes.

Foxit runs on Linux, so go with it :D The default PDF reader is called evince, you can read reviews of the alternatives on Linux here: http://alternativeto.net/software/evince/?profile=linux&platform=linux (Foxit is listed as #1 alternative). Filling in answers in a PDF

I need to fill in a PDF that has _____________ sections (not PDF fillable boxes).

Years ago I used a PDF software that had a 'writing text into a PDF' feature. (I believe it was an old Windows version of FoxIt).

Any suggestions?
