Couple of more things to add.

In my black screen, the caps lock light does't toggle and nothing happens when I press CLT+ALt+f1

Hello!
I'm experiencing same thing..
I've tried many times.
Tried different USB creators (LiLi and UUI). Tried two different flash drives, but to no use..
I tried waiting for a long time- Like 30 minutes..

Any solution please.

No I used relative path not absolute path.. I first did

Ouch. To get to your files, open a terminal or do Alt+F2 and run: gksudo nautilus That should open your file browser as root, allowing you to access the files. Once you have reinstalled and want to copy the files back, you may have to change ownership of the files to your account first. You can do ...
