All the icons (both menu and tray) are located under /usr/share/icons/. Just go to that folder and search Transmission.
Then all you gotta do is edit them in whatever photo editor you prefer. Maybe just change profile from RGB to BW. That'd be the easiest.

Re: Chromium - none on mint 20
Not to bump up an old topic. But I find these instructions to be the most newbie friendly. Install the following packages: chromium, chromium-common, chromium-driver, chromium-l10n, chromium-sandbox, chromium-shell, libicu67, jpeg62-turbo, libre2-7, libwebpmux3 From: http://ftp.us.debian.org/debian/...

Re: Need files for printer
These are Ubuntu instructions.
So in other words, you need to look in the Ubuntu repository
Here you go:
https://packages.ubuntu.com/eoan/amd64/ ... 4/download
https://packages.ubuntu.com/eoan/amd64/ ... 2/download
If package dependencies are required, you'll find them there as well.

Nevermind.
I figured it out.
For those who wonder, edit the /etc/lsb-release file.
I hope the LinuxMint team fixes this problem.

Very annoying bug in Mint 18 preventing me from adding PPAs
Hi there.
I just upgraded from Mint 17.3 and for some reason, the settings haven't really been changed from trusty to xenial.
When I am trying to add a PPA, it tells me that the PPA is not supported on Trusty.
So how do I fix this? Where is this distro name info stored so I can fix it?

Bluetooth is turned off by default
HI there.
I just bought a new bluetooth USB device.
It works great, but it's turned off by default.
This is very annoying because now because of pulseaudio I have to pair my headphones every time I wanna use em.

Re: Grub error "No volume groups found"
Thank you Zaileion. I'll give it a shot. But won't that reset to factory settings? I don't wanna do that. I tried draining the battery by having the PC on and unplugged over night, but it didn't work. I can't believe they make it this complicated. I've only had the laptop for like a week, and then t...

Re: Grub error "No volume groups found"
Thanks but pressing any key makes the keyboard freeze.
So no use.
Guess I gonna have to contact ASUS or something.

Re: Grub error "No volume groups found"
I can use F12 or comma. Same function. Both makes the keyboard "freeze". If anyone know what to do here, please help. According to all my googleing, this is a common problem on this ASUS series. Apparently, I have to reset the BIOS. Is there a way I can do this without removing the battery...

Re: Need help with Bluetooth (491520 10 bnep, rfcomm)
Never tested. I've only used Mint 17 on this pc.JeremyB wrote:Has bluetooth ever worked even on another OS?
But from the log, as yo can see, the bluetooth is recognized and should work fine.
And I've disabled UEFI from Bios, so that shouldn't be the problem either.

Re: Grub error "No volume groups found"
Hi again. I rebooted. But I shouldn't have done that. My computer is now stuck at the motherboard logo screen. I can't access bios. If I press the comma key, the keyboard freezes.
