Re: THE MINT CAFE
That breach a month or so ago did remind me that this place existed, so I guess there's that. But since I don't use Linux Mint any more, there isn't much reason for me to use these forums. I will mention that I use Two-Factor Authentication wherever I can, and as more websites enable it, I highly re...

I cringed at all three of those pictures. The third one was the worst though

Re: THE MINT CAFE GANG
That’s true, but on the other hand I‘ve got more work done in the past day than I‘ve managed in months. If I knew better I might have got more done.
Bleh, you’re right. I’m back now and that’s all that matters.

Re: THE MINT CAFE GANG
You know, I’ve been distrohopping for awhile with Linux, then moved back to Mac, then moved back to Windows, and all of that. But I don’t think I’m actually comfortable working under anything other than Linux Mint anymore.

Re: Talk to a stranger
When I used to use Omegle it was fueled with the Dutch. I would have maybe three or four conversations a day, and all of them would be from the Netherlands. All of them were pretty cool people, too

Re: KDE 4.2 released today
It's at the point where I can use it daily, but will complain about some issue in some area that makes me a little vexed. It's definitely a huge improvement on 4.1, but I'm waiting out for the next iteration before I formally make the switch from 3.5

I've just installed this beast. It's pretty damn impressive, and I'm looking forward to the final release.

Re: what music?
I lost my entire music library a while ago, so for the moment I am only using LastFM (and used to use Spotify). The genres I tend to type in are post-rock, post-metal, math rock, shoegaze, stoner rock, deathcore/metalcore/grindcore, chiptune, jazz... quite a lot, really.

Re: KDE 4.2 released today
I'm just looking for a good enough reason to jump ship from KDE3. As much as I love what KDE4 is using, I can't use it daily.
I have not tried KDE4.2 yet though; I am downloading the Felicia release candidate and see what I think.

Re: Huge Virus infects many Ubuntu and Mint computers
It's a conspiracy, I tell you. Last time I heard, most computer manufactures purposefully install this virus onto computers before selling them.

I've been using it on and off since version 2, and I think it's pretty nice. It's come a long way since its Beryl days.

Re: SP3 designed to crash XP and force VIsta upgrade?
SP3 didn't seem to crash for me; seeing as though it's just an amalgamation of all updates since SP2, I'd find it hard to believe it's a conspiracy of any sort.

Re: Linux Mint 6 RC1 Bug Thread
User Interface Issue (Minor) I noticed the timezone map was very difficult to control. Unresponsive at first, but when it settles it resets to global view after one or two seconds. The Ubuntu's corresponding map is actually easier than their last one, though. I think I might be the only one experie...

Re: First look at Windows 7's User Interface
Windows 7 looks pretty slick, but I'm not so sure about the taskbar - it looks like they're after Mac OS X's thunder with its dock, but I don't think it suits Windows all that much. I guess it's just the change from black to glass; I preferred the black, actually.
