In the lm9 fluxbox cd. Look in the Home folder for a config folder. You may have to have show hidden files selected. In the config folder you should see a tint2 folder.
Copy the contents of that folder over to your lm13 fluxbox install into the same folder.

Re: Pidgin system tray
In Pidgins Preferences on the Interface tab set Show system tray icon to Always.
Also if you want Pidgin to start up when you start KDE. Go into KDE Startup settings and select Restore Previous Session. Good Luck.

Re: Mint Desktop Environment Popularity Poll
I still have the last Fluxbox that was released installed. Rarely use it due to being so behind the times. I mainly use KDE now. I dont see a reason to even have Fluxbox in all these polls anymore since the Dev's have abandoned it. It's a Damn Shame Kendall just blew it off and he wasnt replaced.

Re: Firefox freezes at start
I am not having Freeze up problems but Firefox is laggy as heck on my Lxde install. Although I dont normally use Chrome, I installed Chromium and it runs good.
So not sure why but something is not right with this lxde and firefox versions.

Re: The End of Mint Fluxbox?
If Kendall doesn't want to mess with the Fluxbox Edition then they should tell the community. Maybe there is someone else out there that would be willing to take over. Like Kendall did when Shane left. I just dont want to loose it.

Re: The End of Mint Fluxbox?
Kendall has been the main Dev for the Fluxbox and Lxde. Lxde has been updated since 9 was released but no fluxbox. Its been months since he gave an update about fluxbox.

The End of Mint Fluxbox?
So will Mint 9 Fluxbox end up being the last Fluxbox Edition created? Why cant we get an answer from the DEV or CLEM or somebody in the loop about this situation? Is there SOMEBODY else out there with the know how that would be willing to JUMP in and SAVE our Beloved FLUXBOX EDITION??????

Re: KDE Logout brings up blank screen
My kdmrc file did not have the "Terminateserver=True" line in it at all. As root I entered it and log out works fine. I find it odd that some had it and mine did not.

Is Kendall still around?
What is Kendall's status? Is he still part of the Mint team? Is he still the main Developer for the Fluxbox Edition?

Re: Heavy development has started on a new Fluxbox edition.
Don't get me wrong, I hope that Kendall can find the time to get the next release out the door. Then as a "Rolling Release" we wont have to go thru this again. The Mint Fluxbox has always been a very well polished edition and has always worked great for me. Hopefully that will continue.

Re: Heavy development has started on a new Fluxbox edition.
Hate to be a pest, but any word on this? mikhou Fluxbox is at the very bottom of the priority list. Its been a Year since the last release. They dont even care about it. They cant even get out the KDE version. Clem has too much to do with the Main and not enough Quality help with the less popular v...

Re: Swift Linux: antiX -> LMDE base
So instead of creating a new version of Mint, why not take over the Fluxbox version? Kendall doesn't seem to have the time and or the desire to get a new version out.

Re: Heavy development has started on a new Fluxbox edition.
Well its been another month without a new Fluxbox or an Update.
Actually looking back its been a Year since the last Release.
And Yes I have read all the post about what Kendall is wanting to accomplish. Maybe some of the other Dev's could help him out?

Re: How to automount NTFS partitions under Flux?
Well here is how I do it.. I created folder in /mnt dir like ---- /mnt/Storage-ntfs Then as root I added this to
/etc/fstab. /dev/sda2 /mnt/Storage-ntfs ntfs auto,users,exec,umask=000 0 0. /dev/sda2 being the ntfs partition I wanted to automount. then rebooted. Good Luck

Re: Mint 11 KDE development
Agreed. A year ago there was talk of Mint KDE being released at about the same time as the main edition releases. Now it's been about five months since Mint 11 came out and there's no sign of a KDE edition on the horizon. I don't mind the delay so much as the silence. Is KDE going to be based on LM...
