sorry i went throuhg the lauanch pad but i couldn't get the point

I got lost totally there

Screensaver Freeze the system

Hi

after the latest upgrades for mint 11 i have noticed that when i leave the screensaver the system freeze totally
and lathou i go to other tty and kill -9 the screensaver process it is still freezing

i set the screensaver not to lock the pc

I don't understand what is the right local and what is the wrong?

I mean when i installed i choosed en-us and for the keyboard and reginal as well
the help wasn't working

now the language en_us keyboard us reginal uk
and the help still don't work

I went to menu-->language support --> and changed the regional format to UK and logout login and it's not now working

Help in Gnome is not working

Hi,

Whenever i press the help button for any it popup message "There was an error displaying help: The specified location is not supported"

I have tried to re-insall the gnome-user-guied but that woudn't help

Can anyone help ?

Hi,

The date formt in all the application in linux mint 11 is always M/dd/yyyy
how can i change it to dd/MM/yyyy?

yes but others downgrade and worked for them

for me i don't care about compiz but i'm not sure that the metacity will work

Hi I have downgarded the compiz and the fusion icon doesn't launch now and for the command metacity --replace , the command does't work properly as it doesn't exit it run in terminal without exiting and if i close this terminal i'm back to compiz zoom@Danial ~ $ metacity --replace Window manager war...

try to check it in
Menu-->Preferences-->main menu

and check in all the categories it should be there under onw of them mark it and it will appear in the applications

Try using this command it worked for me
sudo aptitude -o Acquire::http::No-Cache=True -o Acquire::BrokenProxy=true update
and then try update again
