With firefox why not just use full screen mode. Press f11 to activate/de-activate it. That way, the entire top portion of the window (window manager title bar, menu bar, tabs etc...) as well as any Window manager desktop task bar will disappear until you slide the mouse to the top of the screen. Is there some kind of MITM being used to access the forum? If I go to user control panel->[Profile]->Manage "Remember Me" login keys. The IP address reported is usually but not always, not my IP address. The one I keep seeing is: 185.93.229.8 which is registered to Sucuri Inc. and is definitely not ...

How about adding multi-factor authentication to the login?
Something like Google Authenticator, or a text message OTP.
It marginalizes the value of a cracked password.
