Re: Kliqo

This sounds like a scam site, it even looks like one. I hope you didn't have to enter credit card data or some such  At first, I thought it could be too. But when you think about it, it doesn't add up. You don't sign up on the site, you sign in through Facebook. And you only give your addres...

Kliqo

Linux Mint is in no way affiliated with Kliqo and visitors to the forums click through to third party sites at their own risk. I'm not too sure of the their actual intention here, but Kliqo is a Prize Gameway site. Not a Giveaway, a Gameway. What you do is try to get Time Boosts, otherwise known as...

Re: Questions about Defragging or Antivirus? Look here first

If you had told me this years ago, I would have gotten Linux sooner. It seems with Windows you can't trust everything and everyone. Just before I installed Mint, a friend of mine got a rootkit virus on Windows. I then ended up looking at this topic and installed Mint.

[SOLVED] Icons on Gnome panel bar

I was messing with some settings on the Gnome panel bar and now I'm not sure how to reset it. Here's what it looks like: http://img221.imageshack.us/img221/4448/selection011.th.png The icons in the middle only show when the applications are open; but they didn't used to be there. How can I make it s...

I used Windows before and it worked fine. I just don't see why it isn't working now.

Would reinstalling help at all?

Re: google+

In my opinion, it seems like its Facebook + Twitter = Google+, because you can add people but they don't need to add you back, but it has chat.

If anyone wants an invite, feel free to PM me or reply in this thread.

XChat not saving sound settings

I downloaded my own sounds for XChat, and I set them up. But whenever I close it, I have to re-add them again. I tried changing the font and the timestamp format and those saved. But, the sound settings aren't saving. What's wrong?
