Re: What is a 'flag' Concerning this Example...

That's not entirely correct. You should add the --password-store=basic to the existing line starting with Exec=. So like this, with addition in green and removal in red: Exec=opera --password-store=basic %U Exec=--password-store=basic The file should then look like so: [Desktop Entry] Version=1.0 Na...

Re: How to Make VirtualBox Truly Full Screen?

host+C is scale mode for me. Full screen mode is host+F. So I think one point is you're not actually going full screen. By default in (actual) full screen mode it does show the border of the mini toolbar at the edge of the screen. If you move your mouse there the mini toolbar pops up. If you don't w...

Re: Why does Copy&Paste remove Carriage Return?

Question 1: you're doing that yourself by NOT specifying the line ending format you want to use for your copied.txt file. When saving a new file, or using the Save As dialog for an existing file, you can set the line endings you want to use for that file. You can set it to Windows there. If you edit...

Re: Forum has been upgraded (report issues here)

Only in draft management on the UCP does it show internal representation. If I load the draft in a reply here it's showing the normal text and BBCodes.

This is a known phpBB issue:

Re: Registration process is ridiculously ornerous

Without the CAPTCHA and first posts moderation, the forum would be bombarded with spam every day. As a general rule of staying safe online: use a unique password for every website. That way, should user data be stolen from one website it doesn't give the attackers (or the people they sell the inform...

Re: Linux Forums Color

prosilver-minty is just the standard (drab if you must) phpBB forum theme you see on every other Linux forum out there. Only change is I added the Linux Mint logo to it. It has always been an option for people that don't like the minty colors. Perhaps one day we'll have a new theme if a theme design...

Re: Forum has been upgraded (report issues here)

They are different. - img is limited to 640x480 size images. For small screenshots. - rimg allows bigger images but resizes them to 640x480 (they can be clicked to enlarge them) This way we keep topics readable. We'll cover this in an upcoming topic. In any case, we'd rather we only have the rimg op...

Forum and Topic Icon Legend

This is a summary of the forum and topic icons and what they mean. Red icons mean the forum or topic has posts you haven't read yet while green icons mean there aren't. A fa-star red star emblem on a topic icon means you have posted on that topic. For topics with attachments a fa-paperclip paperclip...
