... If you like a theme, applet, desklet or extension take a moment to visit it's Cinnamon Spice page and give it a star. . ... I'll definitely do so! I'm using Kashmir-Blue on Kubuntu 18.04 for the gtk2/gtk3 side of things instead of the default Breeze. And it's just brilliant! Your attenti...

Progress is apparently block by another issue: https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/is ... 863230#c12
But that blocking issue isn't accessible to just anyone.

Re: KDE Neon appears to have gone LTS on Bionic

Bionic has multiarch support for i386 even on amd64 systems enabled by default. I don't recommend changing this default, but if you don't need i386, you can limited the architecture support of a specific repository, that way apt won't search for i386 versions: deb [arch=amd64] http://archive.neon.k...

Hi Vilsen, There are other screenshot (printscreen) applications that anyone can install and use in any edition and version of Linux Mint like "Ksnip", "Shutter", "Flameshot", "Ksnapshot", etc... My favorite is "Ksnip" and can do what you want and much more. Ksnip https://forums.linuxmint.com/viewt...

Have you considered the AppImage? I started using the Basic+Help AppImage on Friday, and it has not given me any problems. The file is LibreOffice-6.1.0.help-x86_64.AppImage, and you can download it from https://libreoffice.soluzioniopen.com/index.php/stable-2/ . Download, make executable, run. I'm...

Make sure libreoffice isn't running. Then rename ~/.config/libreoffice to anything else and start libreoffice. If it works, it's possible something got corrupted in ~/.config/libreoffice/4/user.

Re: What is cmd to have Firefox open maximized?

Yes, I'm at the point of uninstalling it and reinstalling it. It's a shame there is no command to put into the Properties window to open it maximized every time like there is in Windows. "uninstalling it and reinstalling it" won't affect the contents of ~/.mozilla. You may want to look at support.m...

Re: What is cmd to have Firefox open maximized?

@RamBurner, it's highly likely that your window manager will allow you to specify that a certain application, in this case Firefox, opens maximized each time (flemur's suggestion).

Or, try a new profile (gm10's suggestion).

As gm10 wrote, they're mostly bug fixes. Look at https://lists.ubuntu.com/archives/bionic-changes/2018-July/date.html (or whichever month you're in) for clues. Also, there are changelogs that may have information. You could poke around in http://changelogs.ubuntu.com/changelogs/pool/ to find, for ex...

Re: Kernel 4.15.0-24 won't boot passed grub - Mint 19 Mate

The official kernels that you get via the Update Manager are generally safe, this -24 situation is an exception, made worse by the fact that many mirrors are apparently super slow to update their repositories - that kernel was removed by Ubuntu nearly a week ago now. While I haven't yet had problem...

+1 gm10.

I very much doubt you can have one command that deals with closing tabs as well as with closing normal windows and tabs in applications.
