I'll...

Best way to upgrade from 11 (Katya to 12 (Lisa)
First, let me say that after downloading the 12 DVD I am very impressed with the UI - it's a real winner to me :) On to that point - I've been using 11 since July and have it pretty much where I like it. Re: Jumping Winblows to install Linux
I say install windows first - shrink the partition using the "Disk Management" tool & install linuxmint.
That's basically what I did with an off the shelf HP I've been using for a week. I would guess that wine could run your windows stuff fine.

Re: Logitech Marble Mouse - scroll buttons?
Well I figured it out - I simply used the following instructions on this page from Ubuntu:
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Logit ... emouse_USB
now I can hold down the right secondary button to scroll freely.

Logitech Marble Mouse - scroll buttons?
I just installed mint 11 on my new PC and everything seems to be working well. Kudos on this OS. I'm a mac guy, but my G4 MDD was getting really pokey, so I replaced it. After playing with linux over the last 10 years and never sticking with it It seems like I can make this my main OS if I try :-) O...
