All changing it does is change the size of the XFCE area that I showed in the screenshot. Nothing happens with the projector.

Re: s-video adapted to RCA input projector: blank screen(wal
It was connected. The window asking me what display to use even popped up. I booted with the projector already connected and it still isn't working. However at the login menu my laptop screen looked how it does when I choose display both. The only other difference I noticed was my wallpaper. Its nor...

s-video adapted to RCA input projector: blank screen(wall)
I have a projector I was setting up unfortunately it only has RCA connections. My laptop has an S-video out. I got an adapter and got it rigged up to the projector. When I plug it into the computer Mint(13, XFCE) brings up the display menu and asks which to use(TV or laptop). When I choose both Mint...

I got some Linux Mint shirts!
I had a Wacom Bamboo tablet for sale on Craigslist. Somebody offered me 5 custom tees for it. So I got the Mint logo and put "linux mint" under that on 4 of them, and another one completely different for my mom.
I'm pretty happy with them.

Re: Just some general noob Mint 13 questions
I'm pretty sure that you can play both Savage 2 and Alien Arena on Mint through "Desura". Though many games unfortunatly don't work on Linux. This may change soon though, Valve is making a Linux Steam client.
Also someone mentioned WINE. WINE may work, or it may not. It depends on the game.

animaguy, I don't think you see where the money comes in. Just having a great product isn't enough. You have to be noticed. That is where the money comes in.

Re: Google drops Picassa
Are you talking about the application Picasa or the website picasa.google.com? I tried to log in to picasa.google.com today, and it said 'picasa is not currently available for your operating system'. I didn't understand. I thought it's just a photo sharing and management site just like flickr.yahoo...
