I would claim that there is room for hardware improvement in all operating systems. Even Windows could support certain audio devices better. You might see that this is not related to the market share.

The OpenBSD team is working on a web browser which is chroot'ed by default, presumably based on Firefox or Chrome. This could become interesting yet.

One thing I liked with yum (Fedora's RPM manager): yum history. Instant rollback (and restore) of any previous transaction. A feature I really miss on all other operating systems I've been using for the past few years.

Actually, Linus started with a terminal emulator. Linux's roots are nowhere related to servers.

Maybe I'm reading this incorrectly, but the last tweet seems to indicate the problem is no longer a problem. "The issue in the issue fix is fixed", part 28534 of ...? And of course it's the Microsoft way. OpenSSL won't disclosure the issue unless the fix for the fix is publicly available ...
