laptop wifi is not working properly so am looking for advice on the easiest to install . the most compatible dongle to buy .

testing from 7am till 12pm = had good results 70 to 80/18 BUT then back to 1/13 and 8/17 at 1pm , then tried tablet and got 108/18 so maybe computer is snafu.
am using the 5ghz band.

I am on FTTP 100/20 plan . 12 m from modem . I have 2x 10" lenovo Tablets that get 107/18 Mbps and a Moto phone 110/18 .. but my laptop has been as low as 1/18 = one/18 and avg about 35/18. ooops just did new test today , early morning & 77/19 which is reasonable . will do more tests today.

THANK YOU MIDNIGHT TRUE for your patients ,followed directions and the double checked that all settings were correct. has made a small improvement but CPU still very high = maybe the computer is not strong enough ??

firefox works well for me except for one web site that i use all the time . when i run this site the CPU goes 100% [ 16gb Ram is 30% } and FF slows or freezes. i wonder if i can run FF or part of FF in ram to take load of Cpu ?

got my logitech mx master 3s to attach via bluetooth but no scroll wheel , works perfect with usb receiver , any suggestions .

thanks for the replies , I have got myself in trouble before by jumping the gun with something new . So will wait until it is officially released, I don't need the headaches

i have a lenovo laptop and have read that the 6.6 kernel has some more support for these laptops ? how do i install 6.6 , i cant find it ?

in update manager , after advice from forum ,i turned on Flatpak AUTO UPDATE and now all is back to normal .
