have you tried checking the software manager? i'm sure it already has all the software you require, if you can't find wine there try this in a terminal sudo add-apt-repository ppa:ubuntu-wine/ppa sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get install wine1.3 that should install it and as for the 64bit thing if yo...

try this

and then restart shell and select the new theme using gnome-tweak tool or watever method you use to change the theme.

you can change your splash screen by using super-boot-manager(download) or you can disable it via start-up manager(installed)
