Re: Teatime ! [re-opened]

The "Unity" version for Teatime works, but it lacks any kind of flair. Someone pointed to me this page with some extensions for Gnome-Shell : http://titok.info/gnome-shell-extensions/ And there, wonder, there is even "teatimer" : http://titok.info/gnome-shell-extensions/teatimer%...

Re: Teatime !

Yes, it's just a timer. I noticed it is *not* present in the repositories anymore... this is definitely a revolution, that Mint 12. I installed teatime on my very Linux (Madrake, now Mandriva) in 2000.

Teatime ! [re-opened]

I know, it's somehow stupid, but there is one piece of software without which I *can't live* : it's called teatime. It's an applet. It lives on the top bar. Left from the clock.

My question : is there is a way to use teatime with Mint 12 ?

Re: Problèmes de polices avec LibreOffice 3.3.3

Les quatre qui manquent sont d'autres graisses de cette fonte (ExtaBold, par exemple).

Cela dit, charger les versions .otf de la fonte a "kind of" réglé le problème.

Une explication me ferait encore bien plaisir...

Re: LibreOffice 3.3.3 : fonts problem

Not exactly. :) This would be much too easy. I miss, for instance Futura LT ExtraBold.

Now I have loaded the .otf version of the same fonts, and this time it works like a charm...

So problem solved, but I still would like to understand...

[Solved — kind of...] LibreOffice 3.3.3 : fonts problem

I use frequently LibreOffice. I just purchased a font-family of which I'm quite fond : Futura LT The files in question are .ttf files (there are 20 of them), and are situated in ~/.fonts. I can visualise them using FontManager. Now enters LibreOffice... 1.- when trying to access these fonts by the &...

Now they've done it !

I installed my first Linux for 10 years. It was a Mandrake... then when Ubuntu came, I switched. I've been really happy with Ubuntu. Until they came with this monster called Unity, that is... So now, since yesterday evening, I'm a Mint user. I just hope Mint won't go the Unity way... I'm French, but...
