Re: Facebook Messenger Attachment issue
It seems to have been a Linux issue itself. I tried with a live USB of Manjaro and had the same issues, but had barely any issue using Windows. Whatever it was, the Not Sending issue seems to have been rectified, however Facebook now has a separate issue when sending picture attachments. For some re...

Re: Facebook Messenger Attachment issue
Unfortunately, going with the Flatpak browser version did not work. The problem started when Facebook prompted me for as password to make the Messenger connection encrypted. I am thinking that there is something in their encryption method that Linux doesn't like, as I rarely have any issues when usi...

Re: Facebook Messenger Attachment issue
I did say I am running Linux Mint Cinnamon and had just updated to the latest version. For Messenger, I use the Messenger Tab from the Facebook page. I tried using Caprice but could not get it to work. I use 3 different computers, however I am currently on one of my laptops, so here is the info for ...

Facebook Messenger Attachment issue [Solved]
I have a friend that lives across the country from me and we use Facebook Messenger to send pictures back and forth. For the past couple of months, I have been having issues with doing so as it will be hit or miss on whether Messenger will accept the picture. Sometimes it will send it and sometimes ...

Re: How to upgrade to Linux Mint 21.2
I've updated my desktop and two laptops to Cinnamon with no issue. My only complaint about the upgrade is that the Software Manager now takes a while to load up, when I just tested it, it took 15 seconds to start. other than that, everything looks great. Edited to say it took 15 seconds on my laptop...

Re: Uproar Bluetooth Headphones on Mate 18.1 [Solved]
Ok, we are both running Linux Mint Cinnamon 20.1. Unfortunately, I do not know what else to suggest. When I turn on my bluetooth headphones. they come on already set to A2DP in sound settings.
Sorry I was not more help.

Re: Uproar Bluetooth Headphones on Mate 18.1 [Solved]
What version and flavour of Linux Mint are you running? These were written for Linux Mint Mate 18.1, so the bluetooth setup may be different in a different version. For instance, I am now running Linux Mint Cinnamon 20.1, and no longer need to use the scripts as the bluetooth issue has been corrected.

I am currently running Linux Mint 20.1 so no longer use the scripts, however I will try and help you with them,
For your device, you have MAC= 00_23_13_01_F0_CA. There should be no space between the MAC and the 00_23_13_01_F0_CA. Change it to MAC=00_23_13_01_F0_CA and give that a try.

Re: Problem with Celluloid
The issue seems to be with the Flatpak version of Celluloid, which was the version I had installed. I opened Flatpak to remove it and noticed someone else had posted a review saying Celluloid seemed to hang on MP3 files, which is what I was trying to play. I uninstalled the Flatpak version and insta...

[SOLVED] Problem with Celluloid
I updated 19.2 Cinnamon to 19.3, as such I had to manually install Celluloid and remove Xplayer. Note, I have no issue playing files from a playlist in Xplayer or VLC. I have some mp3s on my system and when I double click in one, it automatically opens in Celluloid. This I don't have an issue. Howev...

Re: Running programs at a glance
Thanks, that did the trick. I must have been using Modern, as when I selected Traditional, it changed to the way I wanted it. It's too bad they couldn't keep the traditional layout with the modern looking icons.

Running programs at a glance [Solved]
Before upgrading to 19.3 Cinnamon, when a program was running, it would show to the right on my task bar icons, however in 19.3, when opening a program, it shows as an icon in the task bar. The problem with this is I have shortcuts on my task bar for some programs so now I have no way of knowing fro...

Duplicate system tray icons after upgrade (Solved)
Hi all, I just upgraded Linux Mint Cinnamon to 19.3. Once the upgrade was complete and I rebooted, four of my system tray icons, Blueberry, Update Manager, Odrive and Redshift now appear twice in my system tray. I tried closing them and rebooting, but they reappear duplicated again. Any ideas on how...

Re: Xed 1.8.2 Issue
Try opening your 32MB xml file in SciTE, you'll probably get it fully loaded and highlighted about 100x-1000x faster than in xed (numbers pulled out of thin air but I'm likely lowballing it here...). Thank you, that did indeed do the trick. I was able to open the file and have all the paths changed...

Re: Xed 1.8.2 Issue
The fact that it happens in both xed and gedit makes it likely the issue actually like in the GtkSourceView library that both are built on that provide much of the functionality. Is it possible you could share the smaller file that this happens with? I could but unfortunately, Xed decided to make a...
