Re: panels disappear when i switch workstations

I don't have a problem installing or knowing how to use the workspace applet. The problem is, when i use it, the panels on the top and bottom of my screen disappear. At which point I no longer have an applet to get back to the first workspace or to go on to the next workspace. If I open a folder fro...

I'm figuring, sense the applet was working a few days ago, that I put something ...

Help Files (SOLVED)

I've been trying to use the help button at the top of the programs and it seems like most of them are connected to nothing or just basic "About". I was wondering if anyone is working on getting these working. Or if it's just because i haven't downloaded the documentation, letting me know that i'm a ...

Re: 32 Bit vs 64 Bit

I'm running 64 bit Mint for one reason and one reason only. Because I can. 64 bit processor = 64 bit OS. I may never do anything that will require the 64 bit version, but if I do, it's already installed. and If I don't, it won't make much of a difference.

Re: Make a commerical for linux mint.

The way to get a Mint commercial is simple. Find a computer manufacturer who is willing to sponsor Mint and push to have it as OEM on there computers and let them advertise. And, by the way, don't go with HP. LOL

Re: Partial Migration Option in the Installation Wizard

It would be nice to see more then a partial migration. I'm new to Mint, run a low bandwidth Internet connection and did my first mint install as a persistent flash-drive. It took over 4 hours to download the Mint OSI, then I spent the next 3 days realizing the programs and packages I needed and gett...
