Since I am trying to uninstall GIMP 2.10,I have tried to install Glimpse from the Mint repos. Surpringly ,when I opened it to try ,I was surprised
that all the headings ,such as file ,edit ,etc. was in an Asian script.

Has anyone else experienced this problem;BTW same for GIMP 2.10

thanks ,but i want to delete gimp 2.10 ,but i am unable to get rid of it

I have tried to uninstall GIMP 2.10,which is showing strange script (possibly) Asian . In the process I managed to uninstall GIMP 2.8,which warks better then the 2.10.

BTW gimp 2.10 will not allow a "scanned" image to be used ,like 2.8

I have 2 towers side by side ;1 with mint 18.2 with the Brother drivers installed ,and working,the other tower has mint 19 ,but no drivers (Brother )driver i...

I have not had any problems with my Brother all in one with Generic inks .Just make sure yoy purchase from a reputable source.

have you downloaded the scanner drivers from the Brother website ,also try ,from synaptic ,sane ,xsane ,
these might help;otherwie search this forum for a solution.

I would appreciate it very much ,if anyone could show me how to create a folder titled "Printer" within my Download
folder;so that I can maintain all of the "install" files for my printer ,in case I need to re-install it.
