Yeah, thank you, that really worked. However, it didn't solve my problem with using Holdem Manager under Linux. But nevertheless, thanks a lot!

[SOLVED] Postgre SQL for Linux

Is there any opportunity to install Postgre SQL under Linux? Maybe someone knows, there's software called Holdem Manager, poker software for tracking games and managing database. So, to install this software one must have this Postgre SQL.

Thanks for your feedback.

Network Manager Issue

I've got Mint 11 x64 Main Edition. Newly installed. Noticed that occasionally my DSL is disconnected, however all hardware is in normal state. After that, I can't establish the connection because Network Manager no longer sees my hardware. And when I have been running Mint 10, there was no such prob...

Re: Mint 11 and Skype without scrolling bars

I've noticed I've got the same problem with Acrobat Reader as well. No visible scrolling bars, however I can click on window's borders where they supposed to be and scroll.

In Skype, there's no visible area for the tick to switch on/off when you want to put a tick "Log me in automatically."

[SOLVED] Firefox and plugin-container

I think there are some topics on high Firefox CPU demand. However, my problem is plugin-container. I'm using Mint 11 x64 Main Edition (but I had this problem with Mint 10 also). When I open about 6-10 tabs and some tabs have flash elements on them, my plugin-container gets all the CPU usage (I can s...

Compiz Downgraded - Want Back Some Functions!

I've install Mint 11 and downgraded Compiz to version 0.8.6 as it's described here: http://forums.linuxmint.com/viewtopic.php?f=90&t=73456&p=473306&hilit=compiz+downgrade#p473306 However I'd like to use some functions that were in the newest pre-installed version of Compiz. I mean -- when I place th...

Re: Mint 11 and Skype without scrolling bars

Yes, I can scroll with my mousewheel. And I can even scroll clicking where should be the scrollbars. And though I know there are overlay scrollbars in Mint 11, there are no any ones in Skype! I mean, they are, but they are not visible. A can kind of control that scrolling, but you see, it's so...

Re: A lot of CPU usage with a new Mint 11 installation

Oh, thanks for that detailed information. I just always think that if you don't really load the processor, there's no any usage percentage. I mean, you don't convert or render video, audio, don't manipulate with graphics, etc. And the sound, the audio players -- I think it's kind of very lightweight...

Popper - no envelope in Indicator Applet

There's an app for checking new mails without need to launch the email client like Thunderbird. It's called Popper. I've installed it in my fresh Mint 11 from the official PPA. I've heard that it has some green envelope icon in Indicator Applet on the panel. OK, I've got Indicator Applet Complete ad...

Mint 11 and Skype without scrolling bars

I've got fresh installation of Mint 11 x 64 main Edition. I had to downgrade to Compiz 0.8.6 as it's described here: http://forums.linuxmint.com/viewtopic.php?f=90&t=73456&p=473306&hilit=compiz+downgrade#p473306 I've installed the latest version of Skype - 2.2.0.35. [SOLVED] A lot of CPU usage with a new Mint 11 installation

I've just changed my Mint 10 x64 Main Edition to Mint 11 x64 Main Edition. Then I've come into some problems with the latest Compiz -- that is preinstalled. I never changed the Compiz settings, just use the default options. However, I somehow lost my window borders with titles. So I just downgraded ...
