Hi all, Well somehow (my son I think) deleted the partections to my Mint. So it wont boot. I loaded a live Cd and tried to redo them, one for boot one for swap bit it still wont boot. Still nothing. I can it too book into "compatibility" mode get the desktop but can't move the mouse. Ran a MEM test everything good. So any other idea's?

That's very cool, I've been rebuilding some systems and giving them to kids where I live. Nothing near on the scale they are doing only given out 3 so far. LOL But it's still very cool.

This one of the things I love about Linux in general. Each person has there own idea of what a "perfect" download is. There are somethings I would like to see pre-installed and some that are that I never use so for me wouldn't want them in my install.

Yep that's what I was wondering. I'll go by the library and see if I can get them. Sorry only books I buy are Robert Frost or Poe LOL Just not enough room too hold all of them I like. But always on the look for new scifi to read.
