Yeah? Well it looks like you are doing a good job at showing me up!

Good to see you on the map. Maybe our team ranking will actually improve and go back to the mid 800's like it used to be.

I used one single core AMD64 for a year and was doing quite well when I was folding for Team Ubuntu. Shoot, right now I only have one Opteron X2 with DDR and it is doing OK. When I get my store up and running I will hopefully have multiple computers folding for "donations".

Here is a quick way to get started into Folding@Home. If you don't know what Folding@Home is, it is a project that finds cures for diseases by borrowing spare processes from you CPU that you are not using. It has a low priority and does not affect performance, becides working as a nice burn-in progr...

Re: Folding@Home

Anyone tried to use Origami? The package is in the repos and is a nice script. It even has simple start/stop commands with a built in status check and a stats listing. The only problem I have with it is that I can not get my 64bit to run two cores when set up for it. I have to go in 32bit mode in or...

Re: Folding@Home

What is going on with our team? I just checked today and there is only two active users: kwisher and myself (Incubator_Computers). What gives? We need to recruit people quickly! I don't think a lot of people realise that this program does not slow down your computer at all.
