thunderbird (use evolution)
banshee (use guayadque, audacious)
transmission (use qbitorrent)
pidgin (use skype, viber)
vlc (use smplayer)
brasero
I do use calculator and simplescan, when not using xsane sometimes...

to set it by default it's prett easy - I rightclick on the .torrent file and choose "open with" in properties. set your preferred client as default. as to why it is stalling or error'ing I can't help you..

after reading this I also found paypal verification letter in the junk folder :?: saying I haven't used it for a while (which is true, but there have been longer spells of not using it and no request for verificaton). there was attachment asking me to log on. I logged on separately on paypal website...

And thanks from me too - this has been bugging me forever. And by the way ( :arrow: cyberknight314) , when you have small laptop screen and you try to move a window to see whats underneath it, and it just expands and hides EVERYTHING, is annoying as hell :D

!! after some updates - it was haphazard again. The line that works for me is GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX="acpi_backlight=vendor"

Opera has a "Turbo" setting oh no, turbo setting just crushes the computer. I tried it on slow computer and normal with a faint wirless connection, crushed - going 100x turbo ))) there must be reason why it is slow, but it is not linux. it is fast for me (and firefox is slow). epiphany is fast too,...

And people are likely be set in certain ways, how often do you find, that even when you offer an obviously easier version, they will still refuse it, because it's just they are used to do it LIKE THIS. I mean in life general. As for Opera vs FF/Chrome etc, I just think they are somewhat fundamentall...
