Re: Antidote 8 and Kernel 3.11

Here is a solution found on another forum (Debian). I add the link directly here.
It is in French, but as Antidote is 8 a software for french speaking persons, that shouldn't be a problem.

Re: suspend work but not automaticaly

Hello, Am I the only one? Not lucky… If someone has an idea of where to check. I actually found nothing in the log about even an attempt to suspend, while I have a notification from Gnome Shell that the computer will suspend because there is no activity. So I guess it is between gnome-shell and the ...

Do you have any ideas of where I should look?

However, since, I can't use Antidote8. It crash. On the same computer and OS (LMDE) if booting with kernel 2.6, it works. Here is...

Re: UPDATE PACK 8 FEEDBACK THREAD

You got it!

I now have a much more normal list of package to update. gnome-shell and others have to be updated, no more removed…

As the download will be very long, I'll do that this WE.

and will be back if any problem occur. Otherwise that means everything is smooth.

Re: script to switch between keyboard

Hi, I have read quite a lot on keyboard, but it is managed on a quite low level through command like "setxkbmap" or directly in some setting files. But here it is managed by Gnome as if I use setxkbmap, the Gnome applet to select multi layout is disabled. Then I can't switch easily then. S...

Re: suspend is not really suspended

Let's hope I'll be lucky with an update then, as after googling a lot… nothing and both firmware and linux are updated…
My problem sounds exactly as yours. The logs show everything going to sleep, but it wakes up instantly once done. It reminds me of my first son :?

Thanks anyway

Hi, Anyone has an idea for me?
it is a shame to let the computer run all the time, and the boot time is quite long, so I avoid.
