Type chromium in the software manager. Should find it there.....

I don't use the jockey drivers. Since you've already installed a version of FGLRX, you'll have to un-install it. Easy enough to do since you used Jockey.....just go there and uninstall before proceeding. First, enter this in terminal to load prerequisite packages: sudo apt-get install build-essentia...

No way to fix the overheating problem that I know of when using the opensource drivers. I have 2 6970s in crossfire with catalyst 11.11 installed with no issue. (LM 12 & Gnome 3).

Did you have a catalyst installation issue? Let me know where you get hung up......

ATI does not work well with KDE on Mint DE either. Not sure why. :? I have AMD Catalyst 11.11 running flawlessly in LMDE. I was wondering the same thing, and didn't find an answer in the forum. Anyone else have solid advice? I'm just going to wait for the final release to avoid potential issues. Maybe I'm just being overly conservative..... Really looking forward to giving "Lisa" a spin! Hats off to the entir...
