It is just not Gpodder it is the Menu- Preferences - Preferred Applications that is not working on Mate. I tried to use the custom input but it is blocked out which means that the Preferred Applications feature does not really work. It just does not open up my Preferred browser as indication in the ...

And with all things there are many ways to do things in Linux.

You have to go on MENU -> PREFERENCES -> LOGIN WONDOW and select the folder ACCESSIBILITY

I choose Debian only if you can auto install the OS with out using gparted. Most people have no clue on how to do this. Another is the Nvidia drivers auto install or ask if you want to install it. It is hard to get away from ubuntu with these features, if your new to Linux. I do like Gnome 2.xx desk...
