thank you both i didn't realize that there was a trackpad setting behind the settings for the mouse.

(Q) 2 finger swipe to scroll

i was playing around with fedora 16 yesterday and i sort of got used to the 2 finger swipe for scrolling instead of the right side of trackpad. is there any way that i can enable that on linux mint? i tried searching but nothing much came up, thanks in advance

i was having issues with a broadcom 4318 on my dell d600 and i could not get any solution other than to use the windows driver with ndiswrapper in the administration section thats what got it working for me. i doubt i'll ever buy a laptop with a broadcom wireless chip in it again, took me days to fi...

i didn't know anything about this, thank you for showing me. i started using linux because it was a bunch of people sort of giving back to the community, at least now i can sort of do my part. is there anything else like this that can be done?

i just upgraded my ram from 512 to a gig and a half and it seems like a brand new machine running mint, i also reduced my swap size to 10. its running 100% better since i put the extra stick of ram in it.
