Re: How to install win2usb in Cinnamon (32-bit) Mint 17

I do not know how to use win2usb as your describe. But if all you wish is to make bootable USB flash from a Win7/8 iso , you probably know it is very easy to do so in WinOS environment However if you must use Linux OS to do, then there are also a few way. I usually just use old version of unetbooti...

Re: Linux/Windows seeing each other

I truly don't understand the environment of what you are trying to accomplish. Are you doing this remotely across the Internet? Are you doing this locally within your own local area network? Are these machines networked - connected to the same router? What I'm trying to do is to transfer data so I ...

Re: Linux/Windows seeing each other

You see when transferring data from windows to windows you can get into the other windows through network sharing. But I do not like using windows personally as every one here knows. Plus it is safer to use linux to put other peoples data on. I heard there is a way and I will find it and put it in h...

Re: My bios time changes when I install linuxmint 13

Hello, ooseven. Windows expects the hardware clock to display your local time, e.g. METDST here. Linux, however, expects the hardware clock to display UTC, e.g. here this is METDST - 2 hours. When you change the time on Windows, Windows will set the hardware clock accordingly. Both Windows time dis...

Re: Is it possible to have gpart live and lm 12 on the same

Gparted is installed on the live DVD (but it will not be on the installed OS). Just boot to the live desktop and Men...
