so, i've decided to quit using linux mint, for a variety of reasons
mainly, it is kinda slow, compared to others
can't adjust window colors, borders, etc
can't click in the address bar in firefox
kinda lame attitude of developers
meh

LM14.1Cinnamon --> Dell Latitude d430

I just installed LM 14.1 Cinnamon on my new (old) dell Latitude d430 (ssd)

it is superduper!

I had a moment there when i was trying to do a dualboot with wxp, cause it has a key on the bottom, lol; then i said confused!?!

i would say it depends on the desired result
for example, you simply must use lua if you are programming in wow, as far as i know; however, it is known as an easy language, i think :)
it makes sense to me to use a wysiwyg editor, whatever the language; but, again, depends

i just uninstalled every browser that popped up instead of chrome (chromium)
it seems that after installing firefox nightly it did not take over the default (i got tired of regular firefox, but it was my flash that needed updating, lol)

when i was without internet access i found some good dvd's on ebay for cheap (basically cost of dvd+shipping) for example, a 6 dvd set with the entire debian repository; i believe same thing is available for ubuntu beats trying to download at the library and burn it yourself (usually impossible, tho...
